Dear Editor, I am pleased to submit my manuscript entitled “Enhancing Speaking Skills with AI: ChatGPT-Based Dynamic Assessment for Intermediate EFL Learners” for consideration for publication in ELT VIBES. This study investigates the integration of ChatGPT into Dynamic Assessment, informed by Sociocultural Theory, to enhance the speaking accuracy and fluency of intermediate EFL learners. The study uses a quasi-experimental design and also examines learners’ and instructors’ perceptions of the intervention. I believe that the manuscript is relevant to the scope of ELT VIBES, particularly in relation to technology-enhanced language teaching, artificial intelligence, EFL instruction, and innovative approaches to language assessment. The manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not currently under consideration by another journal. Thank you for considering my submission.
